Only Together Can We Grow Peace

Jewish and Palestinian solidarity is more essential than ever. Until we recognize our shared roots between the River and the Sea, and ACT to defend the human rights of all of our people can we grow peace: may we work with our hands, our hearts, and our minds towards peace, freedom, justice, and safety for ALL who live between the river and the sea. This is one of the pieces I am making in response to the current violence in Israel and Gaza.

American Jews: when it is time for Palestinians and Israelis to sit at a table together and figure out how to live together, we won't be at that table. Here is what we CAN and MUST do: push our government to work towards a Ceasefire NOW. Push our government to stop sending unconditional military aid to Israel. Push our government to use it's influence in ending the Occupation of Gaza, withdrawing settlements from the West Bank, and supporting a durable peace that respects the human rights for freedom, self-determination, participation in democracy, and personal safety of ALL people who live between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
